Membership of Taree Old Bar Surf Life Saving Club is now open!

We are excited to have you aboard. Those joining our club now will be registering for the 2026–2027 Season.

General Memberships

  • Active Patrolling Member

    $50.00 per year

    For members who can commit to the patrol roster, remain proficient, assist at a minimum of 75% of rostered patrols, and assist in non-rostered public holiday patrols.

    For members who have been granted life membership.

    Note: Life Members are only required to register online with Surf Life Saving Australia. The Club will process everything from there.

  • Reserve Active & Long Service Patrollers

    $50.00 per year

    For members who are unable to commit to a patrol roster but still want to be involved when able. (i.e. assisting with water safety, patrol substitutions, non-rostered patrols, general assistance).

    For new members who are looking to undertake a Bronze or SRC qualification in order to be eligible to become an Active Patrolling Member.

    For members who assist at the club in an active role (i.e. Fundraising, Cleaning, BBQ helpers, Bar assistants or being an Age Managers).

Nippers Memberships

  • Nippers & Junior Activities Member (5-13 years)

    $50.00 per child, per year

    Our Nippers program helps teach beach safety and ocean awareness. At Taree Old Bar, every age group has a qualified Age Manager and a qualified lifesaver as an instructor.

    Nippers also require a parent to join as a JUNIOR PARENT ACTIVITY MEMBER and must have a Club Cap and High-Vis Pink Rash Shirt ($30). Returning Nippers are encouraged to reuse their Club Cap and High-Vis Pink Rash Shirt.

  • Junior Activity Parent Membership

    This is a requirement of Nippers registration. One parent per family must register.

  • Memberships follow the patrolling season, which typically runs from September to April.

  • Membership is completed online via the Surf Life Saving Australia portal. After registration, please email the club to confirm your payment and any questions.

  • First contact the IT Help‑desk with Surf Life Saving Australia. The club has limited ability to assist with portal issues.
