Patrols

Keeping our beach safe

Old Bar Beach is proudly patrolled by our volunteer lifesavers on all weekends and public holidays during the September to April patrol season. Each patrol team has a patrol captain responsible for the management of the patrolling team while on duty.

This season, our volunteers will patrol:

  • 26 September 2026 - 6 December 2026: Every Saturday, Sunday & Public Holiday from 9am-1pm.

  • 12 December 2026 – 21 February 2027: Every Saturday, Sunday & Public Holiday from 9am-3pm.

  • 27 February 2027 - 26 April 2027: Every Saturday, Sunday & Public Holiday from 9am-1pm.
