About Michael:

Michael has been heavily involved with Taree Old Bar Surf Life Saving Club since joining and gaining his Bronze Medallion in 2015, from a desire to give back to the Old Bar community. Taking on the role of Director of Finance from 2015 through to 2022, he has a strong knowledge of the club and is dedicated to fostering a spirit of community, teamwork and fun within the club.

An active patrol member who loves spending time on the beach and helping to grow the depth of membership and skills within the club.

Experience and Achievements:

  • Director of Finance for Taree Old Bar SLSC 2015 - 2022. Helping to secure grants in excess of $1 Million for the club.

  • Surf Life Saving NSW Administrator of the Year 2019.

  • Current member of the NSW Flood Response Group including deployments to Brewarrina and Tasmania.

  • Representing Australia and Surf Life Saving NSW at the United Kingdom Rescue Organisation Challenge in Portsmouth UK.
